Been playing around with another 3D software known as Cinema4D from Germany. The new version 10 is absolutely cool ! It is definitely a lot easier than 3D Studio Max and Maya. Check it out at www.maxon.net.
Here's a rendering test I've done using a 3rd-party renderer known as Final Render, also from Germany from a company called Cebas. This renderer is simply amazing and is wickedly fast ! Take a look at the quality for yourself below.
Global-illumination is the de-facto standard for realistic rendering nowadays.
All the models in there are built-in except the green organic thingy, which was imported from Lightwave.

Bringing my avatar to life.
This is a test which I rendered about a year ago. Unfortunately, the source file is gone when one of my hard-disk crashed. However, I did managed to save the test-render movie on the thumb drive.
Software used was Lightwave 8.

Bryan's Morphing Video
Hi, all.
My mum's been discharged and am now resting at home. I can finally come back to my doodling and other fun stuff.
Here's a video of my nephew Bryan morphing from a toddler to a 4-year old. Software used was Fantamorph. Nowhere near as powerful as Elastic Reality, an old time favorite of mine.
